L-Kun is one of the first puppets introduced in Rhapsody. He's a very large puppet that Cornet uses as costume early in the game.
History[]
Rhapsody[]
L-Kun's character portrait (2008)
When Cornet realizes she needs a dress to enter a pageant to meet the prince, Etoile has already bought all the dresses in Mothergreen. The dressmaker mentions that there may be some leftover dresses in an old theater in the Wonder Woods. Cornet and Kururu travel to the old theater and instead come across L-Kun. Without any other options, Cornet plays her horn and L-Kun joins the party. As promised, Cornet wears L-Kun in the modelling round of the contest, but loses (obviously). Thankfully, the final outcome of the contest is a tie between Etoile and Cornet, so Cornet is invited to the prince's birthday party.
On the day of the ball, Cornet arrives at the castle, only to find out from Etoile that she has to wear her contest dress (L-Kun) to the party as well! During her dance with the prince, Cornet trips and falls out of L-Kun. Despite the awkwardness of the situation, the prince and Cornet hit it off and finish their dance. L-Kun reveals to Cornet that his dream was to be worn on stage. His dream fulfilled, his souls ascends to heaven. This makes L-Kun the earliest puppet whose dream is fulfilled by Cornet.
Rhapsody III[]
L-Kun and all of the other puppets get seperated from Cornet in the forest during Chapter 1. He's later discovered in the cave under the gigantic Guardian Mushroom that resides there. After he's rescued, he explains to Cornet that he fell through a hole and landed in the cave; Cornet then plays her horn and he rejoins your party.
